[EN] Rifts is more than just a Berlin-based DJ and producer. He’s also a trained sound technician who brings tons of know-how with him to the decks. He still works behind the scenes at Berlin’s clubs – unless some pandemic happens to have forced them to close, that is. But whether there or as master of his own sets, no niche is safe from Rifts. No matter whether it’s Techno, Jungle, House or Hardcore, he plays them all! He recently contributed a highly eclectic set to the Berlin music platform HÖR and is also a regular among the extras at Spandau 20. His EP “As I Am” was released by Magic Power in 2019.

[DE] Der Berliner DJ und Produzent Rifts, der einen Abschluss als Tontechniker hat, wird sicherlich viel Know-how an die Regler bringen. Wenn nicht gerade eine Pandemie die Clubs Berlins schließt, arbeitet Rifts ebenfalls als Tontechniker. Nicht nur in den Clubs, sondern auch in seiner Musikauswahl ist keine Nische vor ihm sicher: Egal, ob Techno, Jungle, House oder Hardcore, Rifts spielt sie alle! Erst vor Kurzem steuerte er der Berliner Musikplattform HÖR ein eklektisches Set bei, während er sich sonst viel mit den Komparsen von Spandau 20 herumtreibt… Dabei veröffentlichte er noch 2019 seine „As I Am“ EP über Magic Power.

[FR] Le DJ et producteur berlinois Rifts a étudié l’ingénierie du son. Avant qu’une pandémie n’oblige les clubs de Berlin à fermer, Rifts travaillait d’ailleurs encore comme ingénieur du son.
Non seulement dans les clubs, mais aussi dans sa sélection musicale, il ne délaisse aucun genre : que ce soit de la techno, de la jungle, de la house ou du hardcore, Rifts joue tout !
